Book 5: Another Way

Dobie and friends Bucky and Markeesha had placed copies of his manifesto in strategic locations throughout their workplaces. Word-of-mouth was the closest thing to marketing that he would allow. There was no advertising campaign. Sales had to be organic, like Johnny Appleseed.
He didn’t need the sales income just yet but did put his website address on the back for those wanting the electronic version. He couldn’t use anything electronic, himself. Charonne aside, Dobie knew it was inevitable he would be fired.
Anything electronic that he touched tended to die in his hands. It had been sneaking up on him in recent years and got so bad that he started to wear anti-static gloves around the office. It’s hard to work in IT when you can’t touch a computer. Luckily, he was in a management position and didn’t have to do any real work.
Everything he did was verbal or handwritten. He started his manifesto on a computer but had to finish it on a typewriter, then hand it off to a professional service to convert into electronic form.
